Welcome to Troy Harlan’s (AKA “TheInfovore”) first blog. Not much blogging going on here, but feel free to check on for the occasional updates.
About Me
I’m a product advisor for Workday, specializing in creating AI agents to speed up implementations of integrations for our Medium Enterprise clients. I presently live in San Diego, California. I love to travel and to ski (alpine – not any of that cross country stuff).
I grew up in small town Indiana. Two of my grandparents were Amish, but I was more into the pies and trampolines at reunions than horse and buggies, etc. I played all kinds of sports growing up, but only when my parents could yank me away from the Atari 2600 or Commodore 64. I still love to play tennis, PlayStation, and ski.
TheInfovore
My social networking nickname is “TheInfovore” because I like to consume information. Lots of it. Apparently it’s in my personality, so more often than not I can be found reading or listening to a podcast about one of the following topics:
- Tech
- AI agents & harnesses
- The housing bubble, bust, and ensuing financial crisis
- Evolution, evolutionary psychology, & evolutionary biology
- Economics
- Politics
- Brain theory
- Early retirement strategies
